DYLAN HELMENSTINE

FOR WISCONSIN STATE TREASURER

Dylan Helmenstine in Downtown Black Earth

Meet Dylan Helmenstine

Dylan Helmenstine grew up in a small, rural Wisconsin community. His parents were raised on farmsteads on different sides of the same valley. Like many Wisconsinites, he grew up with a big Wisconsin family full of farmers, nurses, small business owners, teachers, and more.

“My family taught me to always work hard, to be a good neighbor and friend, to show up for family, and to serve in whatever way I can.”

Responsible Leadership. Necessary Change.

Dylan proudly and effectively serves the state and his local communities in several positions. He is an elected school board member, chairs several village committees, holds appointments to statewide governing boards, and spearheads grassroots organizing efforts. He knows how to move good ideas forward while balancing the needs of our communities.

Dylan has seen policy from several different perspectives. No matter the view, one thing is clear: the way we do things in Wisconsin is not working. After decades of outdated funding plans, ridiculous red tape, and broken promises, we need change. Our state and local communities have great promise, and we can unlock our potential by creating a fairer, understandable government.

As State Treasurer, Dylan will effectively safeguard and grow the state trust funds so that schools continue to receive the funding they need. He will get more money back into the hands of Wisconsinites by promoting the Unclaimed Property Program. Most importantly, Dylan will keep the megaphone in the hands of the Wisconsin people. We need leaders who will use their platforms and influence to highlight the good work happening in our communities all across our state and to call out what is broken.

“There is never a time that the voices of the people of Wisconsin should be shut out of their own government. As State Treasurer, I’ll always be using my office to ensure people are heard, known, and celebrated.”
