Meet Dylan Helmenstine
Dylan Helmenstine grew up in a small, rural Wisconsin community. His parents were raised on farmsteads on different sides of the same valley. Like many Wisconsinites, he grew up with a big Wisconsin family full of farmers, nurses, small business owners, teachers, and more.
“My family taught me to always work hard, to be a good neighbor and friend, to show up for family, and to serve in whatever way I can.”
Responsible Leadership. Necessary Change.
Dylan proudly and effectively serves the state and his local communities in several positions. He is an elected school board member, chairs several village committees, holds appointments to statewide governing boards, and spearheads grassroots organizing efforts. He knows how to move good ideas forward while balancing the needs of our communities.
Dylan has seen policy from several different perspectives. No matter the view, one thing is clear: the way we do things in Wisconsin is not working. After decades of outdated funding plans, ridiculous red tape, and broken promises, we need change. Our state and local communities have great promise, and we can unlock our potential by creating a fairer, understandable government.
As State Treasurer, Dylan will keep the megaphone in the hands of the people of Wisconsin. A better future is possible if we work for it. It starts with being honest about the incredible need for structural change, and working together to achieve it. He will immediately begin advocating for every community to have fair school funding, help local governments communicate better with residents, and support efforts to provide safe alternatives to predatory payday loans. Dylan wants to make government work for the people of Wisconsin, so families, schools, and communities have the support they need to thrive.
If you want a Treasurer who shows up, listens, and supports accountable, common-sense reforms that help our Wisconsin communities, Dylan would be honored to earn your vote.
“There is never a time that the voices of the people of Wisconsin should be shut out of their own government. As State Treasurer, I’ll always be using my office to ensure people are heard, known, and celebrated.”
